International Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Slavery and the Transatlantic Slave Trade is Observed on 25th of March and International Day for the Remembrance of the Slave Trade and its Abolition is observed onAugust 23 of each year.
Emancipation Day is celebrated in many former British colonies in the Caribbean and areas of the United States on various dates in observance of the emancipation of slaves of African descent.
